Atlanta Braves‘ starting pitcher, Jair Jurrjens, threw a complete game shutout (as opposed to the rare non-complete game shutout) Friday night against the Baltimore Orioles. Kyle Davies Released (finally)

Kyle Davies was finally released today by the Kansas City Royals.  The move has been years overdue. The right-hander was recently placed on the 15-day DL with reoccurring shoulder problems resulting in continued ineffectiveness as a MLB starter.
